Before commencing her studies in Halle (Saale), Dr. Eva-D. Leinemann worked as a qualified banker. During her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court in the district of Naumburg, one of her assignments was at a legal company based in San Francisco, U.S.A.
Whilst studying law in Halle, Dr. Leinemann also embarked upon a two-year supplementary course of studies in commercial law which she successfully completed with a Master of Laws degree in Business and Economics: “Legum magister in oeconomicis” (LL.M.oec.).
Since 2001, Dr. Leinemann has been working as a lawyer at LEINEMANN PARTNER RECHTSANWÄLTE in Berlin where she has been a partner since 2010. Her activities are focused on the field of procurement law where she is mainly involved in the procurement review process and the provision of support and advice to bidders and contracting parties during complex tender procedures. In addition, she works on litigation proceedings and advisory mandates in the private construction law sector. She is also an editor of the “VergabeNews” [procurement news] information service run by the Federal Gazette, a speaker at procurement law seminars, as well as a visiting lecturer at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
She was admitted to the Bar in Berlin as a registered notary in 2017
Dr. Leinemann is a member of both the Centrum für Deutsches und Internationales Baugrund- und Tiefbaurecht e.V. [Center for German and International Ground and Civil Engineering Rights] and the Bar Association in Berlin. She is also actively involved as a voluntary member of the executive committee of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Anwältinnen [Consortium of Women Lawyers] as well as the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Vergaberecht [Procurement Law Working Group] sections of the German Bar Association.
Since 2004/2005, Dr. Leinemann (née Ebert) has been on the list of frequently recommended procurement law specialists in the JUVE Handbook of Commercial Law Firms.
